Linette La Porte

Linette La Porte is a Southern California native. Her husband, Marcos, is her strongest spiritual supporter. As high priest and teacher of the home, they work together to create an Advent home for their 3 beautiful children, Joshua (9), Jonathan (9) & Emma (6). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a Spanish emphasis at Southern Adventist University. She has 2 minors in Behavioral Science and Religious Studies. She also has a Master of Divinity from Andrews Adventist Theological Seminary. She gained a world of experience when she volunteered as a chaplain at HOAG Hospital in Newport Beach, helping families in NICU as well as visiting patients during their last phases of life. She spent many years as a stay-at-home mom and home school teacher. Currently, she is the Associate Pastor of the Laguna Niguel Seventh-day Adventist church, specializing in Family Life and Children’s Ministries. Her talents and hobbies include: singing, being outdoors, writing poems, teaching, preaching and spending time with her family. Her motto is: “Train up a child in the way he/she should go, and when he/she is old, he/she will not depart from it.”
