Linette La Porte

Linette La Porte is a Southern California native. Her husband, Marcos, is her strongest spiritual supporter. As high priest and teacher of the home, they work together to create an Advent home for their 3 beautiful children, Joshua (8), Jonathan (8) & Emma (5). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a Spanish emphasis at Southern Adventist University. She has 2 minors in Behavioral Science and Religious Studies. She worked on her Master of Divinity at Andrews Adventist Theological Seminary for 2 years. She took a pause to do volunteer work as a chaplain at HOAG Hospital in Newport Beach and to be a stay at home mom. Currently, she is a home school mom, entrepreneur of The La Porte Soap Co., with her husband, and the Children’s Ministry Leader. Her talents and hobbies include: singing, being outdoors, writing poems, teaching  and spending time with her family. Her motto is: “Train up a child in the way he/she should go, and when he/she is old, he/she will not depart from it.”
